Nick Cannon is done with the Mariah Carey Jokes. The Wild N Out host clapped back at his co-host on The Daily Cannon, his new radio show on Amp, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Many celebrities have joked with Cannon about him blundering his marriage to Carey. The Daily Cannon co-host Courtney Bee Bledsoe did the same thing on the show, leading Cannon to challenge her.
“Explain to me how I fumbled Mariah,” Cannon told Bledsoe. Bledsoe explained she was jesting with the Drumline actor and said, “I just know you’re not with her, so that’s a fumble.”
“Maybe she fumbled me,” he clapped back, highlighting he was present throughout their relationship.
One thing about Cannon, he doesn’t talk poorly about his ex-wife or his children’s mothers.
Last month, Cannon interviewed with The Shade Room and called Carey “the coolest person” he has ever met and “a gift from God.”
“I was 12 years old with Mariah Carey pictures on my wall, and that becomes my wife,” Cannon said. “And the fact that she’s the coolest person I ever met.”
He continued, “I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her. She’s just always happy, always doing for others. No matter what’s happening in life. I’m like, ‘Wow, a person can really operate like that and don’t allow negative energy into their space.’ When I found that out, about how remarkable she was, that woman is not human. She’s a gift from God.”
The “We Belong Together” singer and the Masked Singer host started dating in the early 2000s, tying the knot in April 2008. Two years later, the two welcomed their fraternal twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe. The pair divorced in 2016.
Cannon’s new live morning radio show comes only on Amp every weekday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST. While the Amp is only for IOS users, Android users can catch the show on Amp’s website.
