According to Radar Online, Nick Cannon is getting a talk show, and rumor has it the show will be replacing The Real.

Cannon’s new talk show will air in the same time slot The Real currently airs. The cast of The Real currently includes Adrienne Bailon, Garcelle Beauvais, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai, and it’s unclear what slot the ladies will have. Cannon’s show has its debut. One source told Radar Online that Cannon would announce his new project on The Wendy Williams Show. 

“Wendy Williams is a massive hit and the perfect lead-in for Nick’s show,” said the source.

Apparently, the former America’s Got Talent host shot the pilot of his new talk show on The Wendy Williams Show and will begin doing live shows this September from Harlem. Both shows are produced by Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury.

 “Nick filmed his pilot/test shows a few months ago on Wendy’s set. But when his show goes live in September he will move into his own studio in Harlem.”

According to the source, Cannon won’t be doing any hot topics or celebrity gossip. His talk show will begin with a monologue followed by Cannon delivering the news and playing a little music. The show was

originally scheduled for 2020 but was put off after Cannon made comments that were seen as anti-semitic. He lost his gig at Wild ‘N Out after he made the comments. The Masked Singer host later apologized and said he would educate himself on the subject. The source also claimed that the ladies of The Real hadn’t been told Cannon’s show was replacing their show’s current time slot.

One thing is for sure. Cannon is going to need the money. Besides having 12-year-old twins with ex-wife Mariah Carey, Cannon also has two children with Brittany Bell, a five-year-old and a 5-month-old, newborn twins with Abby De La Rosa, and a baby on the way with Alyssa Scott. Scott’s child will be Cannon’s seventh.
