The gold medalist bought a $2 million abode four years prior in Texas, which contains a new swimming pool, dining area, grill, streamlined cabana and more. Now, the couple is making Texas their home and building it together from scratch.
According to The Daily Mail, Biles showed a photo of the empty land, writing, “I know this looks like nothing, but I’m so proud. Here’s my plot – my soon-to-be-home.”
Both athletes are familiar with Texas. Owens signed on to play safety for the Houston Texans in 2019. Biles was born in Ohio but grew up in Texas at three after her maternal grandparents adopted her.
This isn’t Biles’ first time building from the ground up. In Spring, Texas, the Olympic gymnast built her World Champions Centre gym in 2014.
The announcement came a week after Biles shared videos and photos of her weekend bachelorette celebration in Beliz.

This latest step in their relationship comes a year after the two announced they were engaged in February 2022. Biles shared photos of Owens proposing to her.
“The easiest yes,” she wrote in the caption. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! Let’s get married fiancé.”
