NeNe Leakes Posts Cryptic Tweet, ‘I Am Happy I Was Able To Help All The Other Black Women Get Job Opportunities,’ It Didn’t Go Over Well

Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes trended on Wednesday after she posted a cryptic tweet seemingly regarding her ongoing legal battle with BRAVO and Andy Cohen. The tweet didn’t get the reaction she hoped for.

I am happy I was able to help all the other black women get job opportunities that are working for them. He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years. I want to release these voice recordings so bad,” Leakes wrote.

Fans of the show read her for filth, though she did have some supporters.

One person claiming to be an attorney expressed that Leakes shouldn’t be openly expressing her feelings online with pending lawsuits.

Some folks on the social media platform had the 54-year-old reality star’s back.

In April, Leakes filed

a lawsuit against Cohen and BRAVO execs in a federal court in Atlanta. The suit claimed that the reality star was subjected to racist abuse at the hands of former cast mate Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and the producers did nothing.

“NBC, Bravo and True Foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged,” the suit read. “As the Black Lives Matter movement swept our nation, Mrs. Leakes — Bravo’s historically most successful Black female talent — should have been embraced by NBC, Bravo, and True. Instead, NBC, Bravo, and True forced her out of the ‘house she built,’ denying her a regular role.”

Leakes held a peach from 2008 to 2020. The lawsuit is still pending. The 54-year-old diva hasn’t commented any further on the matter.
