Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes trended on Wednesday after she posted a cryptic tweet seemingly regarding her ongoing legal battle with BRAVO and Andy Cohen. The tweet didn’t get the reaction she hoped for.
“I am happy I was able to help all the other black women get job opportunities that are working for them. He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years. I want to release these voice recordings so bad,” Leakes wrote.

Fans of the show read her for filth, though she did have some supporters.
You’re always been my top housewife, but stop. You’re the only housewife coming after Andy/ as much as he annoys me why doesn’t any other black housewife come after him? At the end of the day babe, you let your ego and fame get in the way.

we all loved you, but your ego and subsequent bad attitude and refusal to participate when you were still a housewife tanked your career, not Andy. you were on a ryan murphy show, etc., but proved way too difficult to work with. just own that, learn from it, and move on

You’re a black woman that had were on television for awhile entertaining us and you got to big for yourself once you did glee. Remember you should of humble yourself for a little and then move on to bigger things rather than burning your bridges before you crossed.

One person claiming to be an attorney expressed that Leakes shouldn’t be openly expressing her feelings online with pending lawsuits.
You are sabotaging yourself. As an attorney, I am cringing. Even if you win your lawsuit, you have defamation lawsuits pending from KimZ & Andy. You can’t just spew out things abt ppl. You’re not trump who can get away with it lol. Please stop venting on SM

In April, Leakes filed a lawsuit against Cohen and BRAVO execs in a federal court in Atlanta. The suit claimed that the reality star was subjected to racist abuse at the hands of former cast mate Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and the producers did nothing.
“NBC, Bravo and True Foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged,” the suit read. “As the Black Lives Matter movement swept our nation, Mrs. Leakes — Bravo’s historically most successful Black female talent — should have been embraced by NBC, Bravo, and True. Instead, NBC, Bravo, and True forced her out of the ‘house she built,’ denying her a regular role.”
Leakes held a peach from 2008 to 2020. The lawsuit is still pending. The 54-year-old diva hasn’t commented any further on the matter.
