Nene Leakes is known for her reality TV antic but she held her own during a vocal battle with singer Keke Wyatt.
Yes, THAT Keke Wyatt. The duet happened while Wyatt was onstage at the Linnethia Lounge, which is owned by and named after Leakes.
Wyatt was center stage when she beckoned Leakes to join her for a playful vocal call and response. The women went back and forth belting “baby” and the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star sounded pretty good.

Leakes received props for her vocal abilities.
“Nene can actually sing which is a vibe,” wrote one fan.
“She was on Broadway remember that! She can actually sing sing,” noted a third.
She was also praised for continuing her success outside of the Housewives franchise.
“SING NENE!!!! bravo missing out on all this good content,” wrote one commenter.
“Happy to see Nene in a where she doesn’t look annoyed or is easily annoyed. Its her own space,” observed another viewer.
“I don’t care what NO ONE SAYS… Nene Leakes has always been REAL if she’s sad you’ll know, if she’s angry you’ll know etc call her anything you wanna but one thing you can’t call LINNETHIA is FAKE…. and that’s what REALITY SHOWS should be about,” surmised an additional person.
Leakes officially opened the Linnethia Lounge on Memorial Day, per her Instagram page. She told The Jasmine Brand Peter Thomas, ex-husband of former costar Cynthia Bailey, was influential in her new venture.
“I’ve been asked to get into [the restaurant] business for a long time, Peter Thomas was trying to push me for a long time to be his partner and to do it forever and I never, you know, joined him. And I said okay ‘I want to do something.’ So I took about two years [and] I started looking for locations,” she told the outlet.
“Every time I looked for a location somebody [else] gets it in front of me. I was like ‘it’s not meant to be’ and then one day I just stumbled upon this location without even really looking for a location,” Leakes added. “And it just happened, it just kind of happened for me.”
Less than two months after The Linnethia Lounge opened its doors, it’s on and poppin’.
“It’s a restaurant/lounge [and] it’s done amazing. I’m overjoyed with the success,” Leakes said. “We’re very unique because usually the gays party by themselves, the grown and sexy party by themselves, [and] the youngins party by themselves [but] they all party together [at] the [Linnethia] lounge.”
