The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is open to experiencing love again, following the death of her husband.

According to People magazine, a source close to NeNe Leakes said she’s “absolutely open to marriage again.” 

“Despite losing Gregg last year, she is really happy and in a great place as she begins starting this next chapter of her life,” the insider said. 

Leakes, 54, continues to mourn the loss of her husband, Gregg Leakes, who died

of colon cancer in September. 

The source also said Leakes developed a robust support system following Gregg’s death. 

“She’s been leaning heavily on her girlfriends these last few months, and when she’s not with Nyonisela, she’s with them whether it’s in Atlanta or other places,” the source says. “She really hasn’t been alone much.”

The 54-year-old recently announced that she was dating Liberian entrepreneur Nyonisela Sioh. Their budding romance appears to be going well, the insider said. 

“Nene is totally into him,” the source said. “He’s wining and dining her. They’re very much already in love.” 

In an exclusive interview with The Shade Room, Leakes confirmed the relationship with Sioh and stated that Gregg had given her his blessing to find love again. 

“I will love Gregg forever & ever! Grieving is hard! Even harder & depressing alone. Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were ‘be happy, keep smiling, and he who finds you has found a good one,’ ” she said. 

In December, the reality star recently celebrated her 54th birthday party at her popular nightspot– The Linnethia Lounge, outside of Atlanta.

She shared her special day with her new beau, family, and friends, including former castmate Porsha Williams and her fiance Simon Guobadia, singer Keke Wyatt, social media star Kendall Kyndall and Shamea Morton, Sis2Sis reported. 

The couple has been spotted on vacation in multiple locations, and Leakes frequently shows off her new beau in her Instagram posts.
