On Friday at the My 2000s Playlist concert in Oakland, Nelly surprised the crowd by bringing singer Ashanti on stage with him to perform their hit song “Body On Me.”

The video of the concert shows the “Just a Dream” rapper and the “Baby” singer singing the song to each other and moving a little closer while Ashanti rocked her hips with Nelly watching.

The pair have a history together since they dated on and off from 2003 to 2014. The reunion caused a buzz on social media after it was revealed that producer and Muder Inc. CEO Irv Gotti also had a history with Ashanti, Sis2Sis reported

Gotti appeared on a recent episode of Drink Champs and shared that he and the singer had a romantic and sexual history.

“We just finished sleeping together or whatever,” Gotti said. “I’m taking a shower, I’m in the shower, you know a n***a after [sex]. I think of the whole track in the shower That record came about because of our energy.”

Clearly not over her, Gotti said he was over Ashanti yet continued talking about how butt hurt he was about finding out his beau and Nelly were dating.

“At the time it happens, any man is hurt,” he stated to the Drink Champs hosts. “The chick you are f**king in love with is with this n***a.”

He opened up about how he didn’t know they were together until he turned on an NBA game and saw them together publicly.

“You wanna hear how I found out? I was at home…listen to this s**t,” Gotti began. “This is…God wanted me to find out. I was at home. NBA package, I like watching sports. ‘Oh my God, what’s this commotion going on in the stadium?'”

He discovered the commotion was all about Nelly and Ashanti walking in together. He was blabbing about his heartbreak seeing Ashanti with Nelly yet failed to mention that he was still married but separated from his wife.
