Ne-Yo And Wife Crystal Smith Hold Crimson-Themed Renewal Ceremony In Lavish Las Vegas Hotel

Schaffer (also known as the hitmaking singer Ne-Yo) and Crystal Smith renewed their wedding vows in an elaborate ceremony in Las Vegas on April 24.

Ne-Yo and his blushing bride shared photos of the lavish crimson-themed renewal ceremony on their respective social media accounts. A split-screen reel of the couple revealed an exquisite hotel suite floor covered in American Beauty rose petals. The top of the video showed the pair passionately kissing one another.

Ne-Yo addressed Crystal with an expressive monologue about their love.

“First and foremost babe, I don’t know if my level of excitement truly reflects how honored and beyond happy I am that we are in this place. Walking into this room, and seeing what you did. You hit it right on the head. Normally it’s me doing this kind of stuff for you, but it’s good to be on the other side of and you did your thing, you definitely delivered. Yes. It’s beautiful. I am beyond happy to share forever with you.”

Crystal also posted an identical video while addressing her husband.

“This weekend means the world to me. Everything that it’s about. Everything that it is and the fact that I get to do it with you. I love you forever and always, a million times, a million years, I will always choose you.”

Floral designer Javier Valentino shared a video capturing Ne-Yo and Crystal’s special moments and the day’s events in Las Vegas. Valentino outdid himself with over-the-top floral arrangements that included deep red roses throughout the venue.

Crystal donned two gorgeous beaded white gowns. And the renewal ceremony was filled with the couple’s family and friends.

Crystal and Ne-Yo were married in a fabulous ceremony at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California on February 20, 2016. The “Closer” singer credited the pandemic and being quarantined for saving his marriage. He had filed for divorce just four years into their union.

The couple shares three children, and Ne-Yo has two children with his ex, Monyetta Shaw. She married Heath Carter in November.
