Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson’s two-year girlfriend, Zelie Timothy, was slammed online after she revealed during the couple’s Instagram Live that she was more interested in one of his co-stars than him.

In the Live, the 27-year-old iterated their love story to viewers, only things quickly turned south after she revealed she was more interested

in his Fast and Furious co-star Paul Walker than Tyrese.

“My type was actually Paul Walker. Rest in peace,” Timothy revealed while caressing her boyfriend. “But [Tyrese] wasn’t my type at all. And my type is not ‘white.’ I’m just saying I was more interested in Paul.”

Tyrese’s face showed he didn’t like what Timothy said and repeatedly told her to stop touching him. But Timothy continued with the story and tried justifying herself. 

She thought the 44-year-old was too old then, but she liked his smile and said his personality was “OK.”

“This went really bad,” Tyrese remarked. “This just went really bad really fast. I’m getting off Live.” 

Timothy continued, disregarding Tyrese’s disapproval, “He didn’t understand the Instagram model thing, so he would always talk down on Instagram models.”

Tyrese responded, “So you wanted the homie; you didn’t want me. You said I’m old.”

Timothy said she never wanted Walker but found him to be cuter.

“You know all this already. I wasn’t your type either,” she said. “So relax. And, yeah, so now we’re here, and it’s an actual, somewhat of a love story, which is crazy.”

Twitter didn’t like Timothy’s words and saw her remarks as “disrespectful.”
