An actor most noted for his role as one of Michonne’s zombies named Mike on The Walking Dead has died.
Thirty-one-year-old Moses J. Moseley was found dead last week in Stockbridge, Georgia near the Hudson Bridge. Moseley’s family told the news outlet that nobody had heard from the actor since last Sunday. Loved ones filed a missing person’s report on Wednesday, and tracked his vehicle using the Onstar system that was active in the car. His body was discovered shortly after.
Moseley reportedly died from a gunshot wound, and police are investigating to determine if he was murdered or the shot was self-inflicted.
The official Twitter account for The Walking Dead posted a tribute to the actor on Monday.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley.”

According to Moseley’s IMDB, his career began in 2010. During his teen years, the tricenarian struggled with being overweight and weighed in at 300 pounds. Two years later, the dedicated actor changed his diet and worked out. He lost over 150 pounds. Outside of The Walking Dead, Moseley co-starred in HBO’s Watchmen, Queen of The South and various shows on BET. His roles as one of Michonne’s pet zombies even landed him on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with Danai Gurira in February 2014.
The humble actor expressed his gratitude for the opportunity on his IG.
“I just want to thank everybody for [their] awesome comments you guys really made me feel you support me and my career. Much love.”
