Monyetta Shaw is now a married woman.
This past weekend, Ne-yo’s ex-bae tied the knot with her beau, Heath Carter, in a star-studded affair in Atlanta. The blushing bride took to her Instagram to share a stunning video of the event.

The beaming couple held their union at luxurious Biltmore Hotel, according to Essence. Her son, Mason, even serenaded “So Amazing” by Luther Vandross to Monyetta and Heath. Celebrity guests that attended included, T.I.and Tiny, Eudoxie, Nicole Murphy and Malaysia Purgo. Kandi Buruss and hubby Todd Tucker also attended.
The X-Scape singer posted a photo of the ceremony to her Instagram page.

Her bridesmaids were R.L.’s, from the group Next, wife and Toya Johnson.
Monyetta will carry her husband’s last name. The couple also has a blended family– her children, with ex-fiance NeYo, Mason and Madilyn. Heath also has children. His daughter was a bridesmaid as well as Madilyn.
In October, Monyetta revealed stunning images from her engagement photoshoot on Instagram.
She also dished on her husband Heath, telling Us Weekly, “Honestly, he was such a good dude and a good person,” she said at the time. “I knew, I want to say almost immediately [that he was The One].”
“He’s the CEO of his companies, and even still, he makes time for his kids,” she added. “I would literally see him rearrange his schedules, have huge deals on the table, and he’s like, ‘No, I have to go see my daughter, and I have to make sure this is done.’ That honestly was one of the main things that made me be like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ Just the love that he had for his children, first and foremost.”
