Mo’Nique Celebrates Labor Day By Showing Off Her Catsuits

She should consider matching bonnets with a bow on the side.

Mo’Nique decided to celebrate Labor Day weekend by flexing in a series of catsuits geared towards more mature women with curvy figures.

The comedienne, who has recently become headwear evaluator, took to Instagram on Friday to proclaim that Labor Day weekend would actually be “catsuit weekend.”

Mo’Nique began her special weekend with a sleeveless, shimmery catsuit accompanied by black heels. She let her inner model out and posed in ways that highlighted both her curvy figure and the hard work she has been putting in to maintain her weight loss.

Her next look served church banquet realness and appeared to juxtapose a catsuit and a feminine tuxedo.

Mo’Nique made it clear to her followers that mature women can rock the one-piece without coming off as trying to deny their age.

“I just wanted to share with my OLDER TENDERS that YES, WE CAN PUT IT ON. And not try to be a YOUNG TENDER. I am 53yrs young. And working towards another 53!!!!!! Y’all, I LOVE US 4REAL. WE CAN DO THIS,” she said.

Mo’Nique’s catsuits were designed by Tyrell Holmes at the behest of the comedienne.

Monique’s fans responded positively to her montage of body-hugging fashions.

“We all too often talk about the lovely Angela Basset growing old gracefully when you need to come up in the conversation too, RESPECTFULLY,” said one commenter.

Mo’Nique has certainly worked hard for her current physique. Over the years, she has shed somewhere between 80 and 100 pounds. In 2020, she shared that she eats vegan fare as well as exercising several times a week.

Despite philosophical differences on bonnets, she certainly slew the looks and may have inadvertently begun a new wave of aunties in catsuits.
