Monica Flaunts Her Healthy Mane And Skin Routine In Video

The award-winning singer looked flawless.

Grammy Award-winning R&B legend Monica recently flaunted her healthy mane and skin in a hair routine video.

Monica, whose full name is Monica Denise Arnold, took to Instagram to share the video of her doing her natural tresses on May 23. The post was in celebration of popular Black-owned haircare brand Mielle Organics’ anniversary.

“@mielleorganics is having their BIG Anniversary Sale – EVERYTHING on website is $7.00,” Arnold wrote in the post’s caption, shouting out Mielle’s blowout sale. “Head to mielleorganics.com NOW & stock up! To top it off, they have a sweepstakes with some INSANE prizes.”

In the clip, she performed a brief step-by-step tutorial of herself washing, conditioning, and detangling her curly hair, as well as oiling her scalp. Her youthful and vibrant complexion shined through as she appeared without makeup.

Arnold concluded her Instagram video by showing off her impressive collection of Mielle Organics products and encouraged her followers to head to the company’s website.

The Georgia native’s fans have speculated that she might be releasing a country album very soon, titled Open Roads

, which was executive produced by renowned country singer Brandi Carlile. The chatter arrived on Apr. 11, after Arnold performed her newest single, “Pray” alongside Jimmy Allen and Little Big Town, at the 2022 CMAs.

At the time, a right-wing journalist named Patrick Howley complained about the presence of Blacks at the show, saying, “Country music is different. It’s not Wakanda.”

Howley added, “It’s supposed to be country music. No offense. I mean, y’all have hip-hop, [and] basketball. I mean, like, just fly with your flock, bro.”

Yet, Arnold previously revealed that she was actually a big fan of country music.

“I grew up loving country music, and my stepfather, who raised me, is a Methodist minister, but he also drove buses, and he would take us to Nashville, Gatlinburg, and Dollywood in Tennessee,” she told Billboard in 2021.
