Singer Monica clapped back at an Instagram fan who called her a hoe. She also had time to address another fan who commented on her appearance.
Monica shared the news on Instagram Stories with a caption noting she had chosen love over violence in response to the fan’s rude comment. “The Boy Is Mine” singer called out a fan who allegedly called her the derogatory word and said the fan was attention deprived.
“This young lady called me a h** tonight …. Now, I could choose a massive amount of violence, but judging by this picture she’s attention deprived!,” she wrote. “I want you all to send her love and uplifting words! @_pose.bxtch I’m wishing the best for you! May all your relationships last, be loving & grow you in great ways! “YDMFKM!!! Decode that!”
Monica also addressed a fan who commented on the scar on her lip, which the singer has had since she was a child. The fan said the singer had the “same cracks in her lips in the same spot. But I love you, Mo!!”
The “So Gone’ singer replied that the fan was slow.
“I love your slow a** too, boo! It’s a scar from a dental accident when I was a child! Hence the reason it’s there from 18 and still there now at 41.”
The Neighborhood Talk caught the exchange on Instagram Stories.
“Now what would make you call Monica a h** 😩 ?”

Despite the fan’s ugly words, Monica encouraged women to support each other and not to point out one another’s flaws.
“But to our sisters, stop pointing out each other’s flaws! It says more about YOU than it does the woman you’re talking about!”
