Sportscaster Mike Hill shared details about his marriage to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey.
In an interview with Behind The Velvet Rope Podcast, Hill talked about his career, past relationships and his recent first marriage anniversary to Bailey.
The conversation starts at 41:53.
“Sunday was our anniversary, and then I took Monday off and had to go back to work on Tuesday. We basically stayed in town and went to this great hotel that’s in town in West Hollywood, and we just chilled, went to dinner, and enjoyed each other’s company,” Hill said.
Despite the issues that surface in their marriage, Hill said the couple remains transparent and actively communicates.
“But I’ll say because we are also very transparent…yeah we argue, and I’m going to tell you right now that Sunday was great [but] that Monday, I was like, ‘We might not make it to year two,'” Hill exclaimed.
“Because it was just something that happened, I don’t go too far into our business – it was nothing malicious. It was just a misunderstanding. A lot of times, it’s just communication.”
In November, the sportscaster addressed rumors that he cheated on Bailey with another woman. A Twitter user exposed him after he allegedly sent nude photos to her. In the tweet, the user wrote, “He has sent me nudes, and I have videos,” adding, “The nudes I’ll post some snippets of later on, but those will cost ya,” Sis2Sis reported.
“Please don’t believe bs,” Mike told someone through a DM after the woman shared the story. “Not exposing me cuz THAT’S not ME.”
“Don’t know this person or why they’re doing this, but my lawyer has been contacted,” he added.
Though Hill has a broad history of cheating in his previous relationships, he claimed he wouldn’t do the 54-year-old wrong.
“I wouldn’t do her like that. That’s dumb. Far from it,” he said. “Just someone who hates progress or I pissed off making up stuff. Well, not from MY account, and that pic is NOT mine. I know what I look like. Thank you.”
When asked about the alleged nude photos, Hill said he planned on seeking legal action.
“We’ll take care of it the way it’s supposed to be taken care of,” he told TMZ at the time.
Hill and Bailey met a few years back through their mutual friend Steve Harvey. After their relationship became more serious, the couple got engaged and tied the knot during the height of the pandemic, Black Enterprise reported.
