Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have decided to go their separate ways.
The Black Panther star, 35, and Harvey, 25, broke up after dating for more than a year and a half, a source close to the couple told People Magazine.
“Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken,” the insider said. “They still love each other.”
“Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time,” added the source. “They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”
The former couple last appeared at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills on March 27, marking their red carpet debut. However, rumors of trouble between the two circulated after the 25-year-old returned from the Cannes Film Festival in France last month.
Though it’s unclear what could have led to the breakup, the two haven’t posted a photo together on social media in months. The last time the A Journal From Jordan actor shared a post featuring Harvey was during Oscar season in March. Meanwhile, the SKN by LH founder has only one photo featuring the 35-year-old dating back to April.

The two celebrated their first anniversary in November and have appeared inseparable ever since.
In December, Jordan told the Hollywood Reporter that he “finally found what love was” in his relationship with Harvey. He then explained why he felt so comfortable sharing his relationship with the public.
“When I was younger, I don’t know if I could have handled the onslaught of opinions and being picked apart, and also being conscious of what the other person’s going to go through. It takes a special person to deal with that.”
He added, “there’s a premeditated planning of staying out of the way [of the public eye] that sometimes kills spontaneity and intimacy. I wanted to take that away and give this the best chance it had, in this weird world that we live in, to be somewhat normal. Long story short, I think it’s just the timing of everything. It was the right time for me,” he added. “Yeah. I’m happy.”
In September, Harvey appeared on The Real and opened up about her relationship with Jordan.
“We just really balance each other,” she explained. “I really do believe in the statement when they say, ‘When you know, you know.’ And I think that really applies to our situation, and we just have a really good time together.”
The couple has not publicly addressed the breakup.
