Miami Rapper Zoey Dollaz Launches First-Ever Bulletproof Car Service For Entertainers And Athletes

Miami rapper Zoey Dollaz recently shared that he launched a first-ever bulletproof car service for entertainers and athletes.

Zoey, whose real name is Elvis Millord, revealed his new business venture on an Aug. 14 episode of NYC-based hip-hop podcast, On The Radar.

“I created my bulletproof car service, the first one ever, because like, my peers, my rap friends, we in danger,” he told host Gabe P.

Zoey further explained that he created the bulletproof car service after figuring out assailants’ tactics when targeting rappers and athletes–many of which include catching their victims on highways.

“They wait ’til we get on the highway and try to spray us,” he said. “Football players that come from the hood, they gotta go back to the hood and see [their] people. We see the stories of them getting harmed and stuff, so I’m like, ‘You know what? Let me create an Uber with bulletproof vehicles.’ And I did that.”

The Haitian-American rapper added that he previously traveled in bulletproof vehicles before being wounded in a 2020 shooting outside the uber-popular Miami strip club, Booby Trap. That day, he said, he was riding in another car–his mother’s Benz.

“Actually, I had my bulletproof cars when I got shot. I just was in my mother’s car,” Zoey recalled. “I had just got my mom a Benz, and I’m like, ‘Let me flex in my mama’s sh*t real quick.’ Man, I end up gettin’ hit up in there.”

The incident reportedly inspired him to create a new business to protect his fellow public figures. He credited music for opening the door for him to expand his resume.

“I really focus on a lot of business,” the 31-year-old said. “Music is my love, and I love it. It created a way for my family to be able to be away from the hood. And my friends, I get to travel the world with them, but it’s a vessel, and it’s a door for me. And it’s just a talent that God gave me, but business is my thing.”
