Method Man Surprised Jada Pinkett Smith For Her Birthday On ‘Red Table Talk’

The man that many Gen X women swoon over, Method Man, appeared on the most recent episode of Red Table Talk. The rapper dropped tidbits of knowledge for Jada Pinkett Smith, who celebrated her 50th birthday.

Method Man briefly shared his experience about finding himself as he transitioned into the fifth decade of his life, namely his physical transformation.

Of course, the RTT staff added a few thirst scenes into that segment as well.

“They say maturity and growth is when you look in the mirror and get tired of your own B.S.,” he said. “What can I improve on? What am I in control of first? I’m in control of my body. Let’s do that!” he continued.

His examination of his thought patterns and behavior began at age 40 when, he said, fewer people stateside were really lining up for 90s music acts like before. At that point in his life, he was making frequent trips overseas.

Method Man celebrated his 50th birthday on March 2 this year, and we don’t think anyone can successfully argue that he does not look

much more fabulous than when he was two decades younger.

Gammy, Smith’s mother and RTT co-host, then asked Method Man about his marriage.

Sorry ladies! He has been with his wife, Tamika, for 29 years. The two married in 2001.

However, the rapper did admit to the ladies at the table that he is a “handful.” That comes as no surprise. Finding a mix of talent, looks, money and ease in one man would be like finding a second Hope Diamond.

Although we know Smith is happily married to Will, the look in her eyes when she realized that one of her birthday surprises was Method Man was undeniable.

While the rest of us receive gift cards and tepid Facebook posts, she got Method Man: Buff & Bearded edition.
