Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, stepped out this past Wednesday with her toddler son, Archie, in her arms. Rocking a growing baby bump, the former actress was captured for the first time since Prince Harry’s return from overseas, Page Six reports. Following Prince Phillip’s death earlier this month, the Duke of Sussex traveled back home to Windsor Castle without his wife to pay his respect.
Prince Harry flew to the United Kingdom on April 11 to quarantine for the April 17 funeral. According to PEOPLE, it was his first time visiting his family in well over a year, likely due to their public estrangement. Markle and Prince Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey in early March to discuss several real issues they had with the Royal Family, and also that they would be having a girl this time around.

Markle revealed during the interview that she and her new husband had faced alienation and mental health issues due to the treatment they received. She also stated that members of the Royal Family were concerned about their son’s potential skin tone before he was born.
Now, the newlywed couple appears to be in a better place. PEOPLE reported that Prince Harry returned to their shared Montecito, California home last Tuesday, reuniting with his pregnant wife and son. Markle and her husband announced their second pregnancy in February with a simple, elegant black-and-white maternity photo.
Markle was spotted on Wednesday while she was on the go with her son, who will turn 2 in May. Wearing a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt, the new mother sat him on her hip as she walked and showed off her cute, growing baby bump. The 39-year-old appeared to smile under her black face mask as she held onto her son, a pair of sunglasses and a diaper bag.
The couple plan on welcoming their baby girl this summer.
