Megan Thee Stallion Unfollowed Da Baby Following Release Of Tory Lanez Collab “SKAT”

Tory Lanez dropped the music video for his new song “SKAT” yesterday, which features rapper Da Baby. Known for his multiple collaborations and public friendship with Megan Thee Stallion, Da Baby appeared to agree to the release of the song following last August’s shooting incident, after which the “Big Ole Freak” rapper claimed Lanez was the person who shot her in the foot.

Wasting no time, she unfollowed Da Baby on Instagram after news of the video broke out, leading fans to believe that his collab with Lanez was the final straw.

Megan and Da Baby first linked up in 2019 with her smash summer hit “Cash Sh**.” They would go on to work with each other again on Da Baby’s 2020 song “NASTY,” and on Megan’s “Cry Baby,” a recent song from her Good News album.

Lanez originally teased the release of “SKAT” in January, causing Megan to publicly respond. Replying to a fan’s comment about the song, she tweetedThat s**t was old and not cleared,” while also taking the moment to promote her own collab with Da Baby, continuing, “CRYBABY VIDEO dropping soon.”

But now, it seems that Megan has officially pulled the plug on her friendship with Da Baby after the music video release of “SKAT,” which is currently trending on YouTube.

One fan celebrated the news on Twitter, writingMEGAN UNFOLLOWED DA BABY WE HEAAAAAA.”

Calling Da Baby out for being disloyal, another fan added, “Not Da Baby claiming he f**k with Megan and doing a record with the n***a who popped her.”

Megan unfollowed Da Baby and honestly good for her,” someone else wrote on Twitter in support of the unfollow move. “I’ll always find it weird how people still kick it with Tory after sh**ting her. They literally swept it under the rug.”

So far, neither Megan nor Da Baby have addressed the unfollow and ended friendship rumors.
