Megan Good Shows Off Sexy Figure On Instagram Weeks After Announcement Of Split From DeVon Franklin

Actress Meagan Good was trending on social media after posting a photo flexing her fit figure on Instagram over the weekend.

Good was rocking a nude two-piece outfit with a long cardigan, white Balenciaga “Track” sneakers, and a cap. Her look was simple but clean. Underneath her post, she wrote the caption,

“Be proud of how you’ve been handling these last few months. The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you had to humble yourself, and the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength. Author unknown.”

The 40-year-old actress posted the picture three weeks after she announced her divorce from the famous preacher and author DeVon Franklin. The couple had been together for nine years but called it quits, as expressed in another Instagram post uploaded on Dec. 21, 2021.

On a happier note, Good appeared on a recent episode of The Real where she discussed the new chapter in life after her split from her estranged husband.

“It’s been amazing,” she said. “So many transitions projects that I prayed for, just health transitions, just taking a moment to really take everything in and get myself, my spirit, my soul ready for 40, and it’s been a whirlwind…it’s crazy, it’s a blessing.”

She also talked about her role in the hit Amazon Prime series Harlem

, starring herself and award-winning comedian, actress, and host, Whoopi Goldberg.

“Everything was like divine because I went in, I met on it, I didn’t hear anything, and I heard they were auditioning, and I was like, ‘Can I please audition?'” Good explained. “Then, I think, initially they weren’t sure if I was the person. So, it’s nice to even, 30 years into the industry, to be able to show someone like, no, I can do something else.”

Her character, an adjunct professor at Columbia University named “Camille,” she said, is “so quirky, so off-beat, she’s so much closer to who I am. Y’all know, I’m a dork!”

Last year, AMC Networks announced that the Los Angeles-born actress would executive produce a black millennial dating show on ALL BLK called À La Carte. On The Real, Good also mentioned that she loved being behind the camera and inspiring the next generation of black girls.

“I love serving the project. I love serving the actors…I love making it easier for the little brown girl behind me, so she doesn’t have to work as hard as I did,” she said.
