A Philadelphia man was driven over the edge when he saw the cover art for Meek Mill’s upcoming album on a public bus. He found certain depictions profane and went on a rant to let everyone within earshot know.
To promote his new album, Meek Mill has plastered the art on the side of buses in the Philadelphia area.
While that’s not necessarily a new advertising tactic, the art was indeed lewd and way too much for a public bus.
There were depictions of topless women with breasts on full display appearing to hold onto a stripper pole. There was also a drawing of a woman bending over, and her hind parts were prominent as if she were shaking it at the same club the first woman is. In the center where the thighs meet, there was a pink spot painted in. We’re sure you can connect the dots on that one.
“Look at this f***king bus! Look at this bus that goes by my neighborhood,” the man shouted in anger.
He went further and asked, “Is this what you want, Black women?… This is how you want to be portrayed?”
That is a controversial point, but it holds plenty of weight. The degradation of Black women in rap has been a big issue for well over two decades.
Plenty of Black Twitter users agreed with this man and expressed their disappointment with Meek Mill over the profane cover art being driven through neighborhoods.
This album cover not cool bro, and then I seen a video with this album cover on a bus in some cities. Like bro ain’t no way this what you promoting in our neighborhoods

Imma just say it , I fuckin hate how black women are hyper-sexualized in the media. That Meek Mill bus is absolutely dreadful, do y’all see White, Asian, Hispanic or any other race put out art images of their women naked on city busses? No didn’t fuckin think so

Query:
Why in the hell, the shit & the piss would they wrap a bus in that garbage?
Don’t black girls in #America have enough to navigate?
Now y’all forcing hoe-culture on them in the open$hit-hop is more like it! #Racist! pic.twitter.com/43o5B07Kr7
