Legendary music executive Master P and his son Romeo Miller recently ended their beef after a long overdue heart-to-heart.
Romeo took to Instagram to share the new chapter he’s opened with regard to the relationship with his father.
“Today, December 31st, me and my father @masterp had very hard conversations; ironically outside in the rain, but in order for any generation to grow, that communication has to be had and reciprocated on both sides,” he said in the post, explaining that they squashed the beef. “The good, the bad, and the ugly. No matter the journey ahead, our family can truly begin to heal, and I believe many others will use our story as an example to learn from. What a way to close the year! Vivre (live) l’amour (love) et pardonner (forgive).”
“Rip to the One and Only dancing #DjTwitch and Salute @snoopdogg for celebrating him! These are crazy times we are living in,” the No Limit founder wrote in the Dec. 14. “Life is Too Short, Appreciate your loved ones……………. #Mentalillness is Real.”
However, his son accused him of not taking accountability for his own children’s struggles with mental health while giving advice to others about theirs. Romeo claimed he had been “avoiding his own children’s struggle with suicide and depression,” as his sister, Tytyana Miller, died from a Fentanyl overdose in May. She was only 29 years old at the time.
“My point, I’m willing to fall on my sword for mines!” the 33-year-old wrote in his latest post. “It was never about parent vs child, or this false narrative or that. It was about doing whatever had to be done for the growth of my family.”
