First came love, then came a baby and with another one on the way, many wonder when the marriage part will come in for Hollywood couple A$AP Rocky and Rihanna. 

Well, according to Radar Online, an anonymous source claimed Rihanna isn’t exactly sprinting to the alter. Though the “Diamonds” songstress is madly in love with Rocky, she fears exchanging “I do’s” would shift their relationship’s concordant dynamic.

It’s not that she doesn’t want to marry the “A$AP Forever” rapper, but she thinks rushing will only complicate things. 

“Rocky would get married tomorrow if Rihanna would agree — but she doesn’t see the sense in it!” A source revealed.

Additionally, Rihanna has a $1.4 billion fortune thanks to her successful makeup enterprise, Fenty Beauty. The businesswoman firmly believes that marriage could jeopardize her assets.

The source said that Rocky maintains he isn’t with Rihanna for money and loves her unconditionally, which Rihanna believes, but she’s not taking that risk.

“Rihanna knows if they decided to marry, she would need a team of lawyers to work months on a prenup to protect her assets,” the source said. “Frankly, she doesn’t have the stomach for it.”

Rihanna’s hesitance is logical. Rocky mainly accumulated his $20 million wealth through his music career, from merch sales and touring to collaborations with other artists — not saying that Rocky didn’t work hard for his wealth. He has had several business ventures, like his creative agency, AWGE.

Meanwhile, the “Umbrella” singer built an empire. The Fenty Beauty founder created a beauty brand that catered to women of all colors and backgrounds, and she owns 50 percent of the company. She also has a stake in her $270 million lingerie company, Savage x Fenty. The rest of her wealth came from her thriving music career.

Rihanna’s financial standing is unsurprising, considering fellow billionaire Jay-Z helped her get her start in the music business when she was 16. From there, the superstar worked to get to the top. 

He even mentioned her in the song “God Did” during his four-minute-long verse.

“Nobody touched the billi’ until Hov did. How many billionaires can come from Hov crib? Huh, I count three, me, Ye and Rih. Bron’s a Roc boy, so four, technically.”

Plus, Rihanna and her father, Ronald Fenty, battled in court after he attempted to use her name to benefit his company. Despite dropping the case, Rihanna learned that even family could betray, especially with money involved. So, even though A$AP loves her, she won’t be foolish. People change.

There’s no specific date when A$AP and Rihanna will marry, and it’s not sure that they will wed. But the two created a beautiful baby boy named RZA, after a Wu-Tang Clan member, and have another on the way. Rihanna is seemingly happy with her little family and can’t be blamed for wanting to keep everything and everyone together.
