Marquise Jackson Responds To 50 Cent’s Claims That His Son Didn’t Want A Relationship

New details have emerged as social media users continue to have a front-row seat to the ongoing saga between 50 Cent and his estranged son, Marquise Jackson.

On October 20, the 26-year-old progeny of the Queens rapper reportedly produced receipts of his father’s nonchalant attitude about their relationship during 50’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club.

Marquise expressed that he had tried to have a heart-to-heart with his pops as a “man” but to no avail.

He wrote, “Now y’all all see I tried to reach out to talk to my pops as a MAN in front of the 🌎 & behind the scenes. I have no phone number for you & You’ve had me blocked on social media for years, so I can’t DM you personally. & everybody that is mutual is scared to touch the topic bc they’re scared of you. This seems to be the only way to reach you. I’m not a kid anymore. No mommy involved. I don’t want nor need money from you.”

“I stand on my own 2. I don’t like attention. I had so many opportunities to get that, and I choose not [to.] I saw the Breakfast Club interview, and it didn’t sound like much accountability; there just ego, blaming and more so about money as if you were the child in the situation. Those text messages was ME I was waiting outside for you. That was the day you broke my heart. I forgave you for it. I’m ready when you ready– to sit down & talk.”

Marquise continued, “I DON’T know that kid. His friend asked for a pic he fanned out and held it for years. Look at the tags in the picture; everybody but me, if that was what I was trying to do I would of posted it myself. The bozo said it himself we DIDN’T and DON’T know each other. Just a goofy clout chasing tryna sell shirts of his alleged dad, who he don’t even got a jail visit pics with & hitting up people that know me tryna set up a event for some bread. But y’all think it’s about the attention & money for me right? If I knew who he was, I WOULDN’T have done that. I found out the same way the rest of y’all did. Y’all can stop the 🧢 now. I APOLOGIZE to anybody that this photo may have hurt, but I wasn’t aware who he claims to be. I thought it was just a fan asking for a picture. Any other “enemies” you’ve seen me in a pic with I’ve known them to be family damn near my entire life bc of my pops. You only know the Kid Marquise. COME MEET THE MAN.#nowyouknowthetruth #letsbreakthecycle

The 26-year-old man poured his heart out and proceeded to drop screenshots where he allegedly reached out to 50, and the rapper didn’t respond. He also seemingly proved that his estranged father indeed blocked him on social media, further nullifying the rapper’s claims that Marquise didn’t really want to have a relationship.

50 appeared on The Breakfast Club on October 19. Speaking to Charlamagne, the Power actor openly discussed his thoughts on Marquise’s request to pay him $6,700 to spend 24 hours with him.

“No, he doesn’t [want a sit-down],” 50 said. “See, Charlamagne, you would call me. You don’t call TMZ to say you want to sit down. Think about it, man. He wants some attention, and it’s ok, he can have as much of that as he wants. What you heard him say in that interview, that’s what he’s been trained to believe for a long time. You don’t flick up and say, ‘Oh, I don’t believe what I’ve believed in forever.’ When I said that he’s entitled, really it’s his mom’s entitlement that’s been filtered.”

50 also expressed that he initially paid Marquise’s mother a half million dollars but said that she got greedy.

“I told you I was giving her half a million dollars a year. At that point, she still was expecting more,” he added. “This is why I took her to child support. You don’t usually sign up for child support; I took myself to child support ’cause she wasn’t understanding that I’m already giving you more than you supposed to get. Then, when it turns into the $6,700, that’s not enough, and it’s never gonna be enough. But remember me constantly coming to you and talking to you about, ‘She don’t want to get a job!’ She didn’t hear me.”

The ‘In Da Club” rapper further opined that Marquise was ungrateful and only cared about having money– not a father-son relationship.

“If you’ve mailed someone $1 million, and they have zero respect for you, how much you think you gotta give ’em before they have a little bit? I don’t think the relationship works.”

He further explained to The Breakfast Club crew, “You’re talking about a kid that’s not even a kid; he’s 25 years old. You know what my issue was at 16? They wanted to charge me as an adult then. So you look, and you go, ‘When are you gonna figure it out?’ They act like they got money; they ain’t got no money. The house that they stayed in, in Atlanta, foreclosed on them before they left. A complete mismanagement of the money you was being sent. He was in Queens working in Van Wyck. He’s a hookah boy!”
