Marlo Hampton has officially gotten the long-overdue title she’d been waiting for. The RHOA former guest-star has formally become a Housewife as of season 14 of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Variety reported that Hampton would be joining fellow full-timers on the show, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Drew Sidora, as well as returning star Shereé Whitfield.
According to the outlet, four-time Olympic Gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross will join the cast in season 14.

Hampton has not yet spoken about her new position as a housewife, but she previously said that it would be an honor to be a housewife and claimed that her story is one that fans would “want to see.”
News of Hampton joining the RHOA squad comes shortly after show veterans Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey confirmed they were leaving RHOA.
As previously reported, Porsha has moved on to bigger and better things and is filming her show, “Porsha’s Family Matters” meanwhile, Cynthia recently said that she left the show to “focus on” her marriage with sportscaster Mike Hill.
“After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter,” wrote Porsha in a statement about her leaving the show.

“Next season, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise,” she added. “This was a difficult decision to not only make but also come to terms with.”
