Mariah Carey Decides Not To Fight For Full Custody Of Her And Nick Cannon’s Twins, Her Boyfriend Is Upset Over The Decision

Legendary singer Mariah Carey has pulled the plug on her full custody fight with ex Nick Cannon. Sources claim the singer’s current boyfriend isn’t pleased with the decision.

Radar Online reported

that the “Always Be My Baby” singer stopped all efforts to fight for the primary custody of her and Nick’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Sources previously claimed the decision stemmed from Mariah being tired of Nick tending to his other children and not spending that much time with his firstborns.

However, an insider disclosed that the full custody idea came from Mariah’s 39-year-old boyfriend and backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka.

“Bryan wanted her to go for full custody so he could get some space from Nick,” the source told Radar. “But she hasn’t pulled the trigger and Bryan’s understandably upset.”

The insider added, “He’s fuming about it, but Mariah doesn’t seem to care!”

Bryan’s dislike of Nick has been known since 2017, which is one of the reasons why he and the singer ended things. Be careful, boyfriend.

Sis2Sis previously reported that Mariah planned on filing for primary custody of Moroccan and Monroe after Nick’s 12th child came into the world.

A source said Nick hardly saw Moroccan and Monroe that much, and the “We Belong Together” songstress had enough.

“…she wants to put him on notice that he can’t just flit in and out of their lives while he attends to his other children,” a source said.

In December, Nick admitted

that trying to spend time equally with all of his children has spread him too thin.

“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me. It’s that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he said on Dr. David Agus’ show, The Checkup with Dr. Agus. “One ’cause I’m constantly working and two, because I’m just spread thin.”

Nick has 12 kids with Mariah (Moroccan and Monroe), Brittany Bell (Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah), Abby De La Rosa (Zion, Zillion and Beautiful), Alyssa Scott (Zen and Halo Marie), Bre Tiesi (Legendary Love) and LaNisha Cole (Onyx Ice).
