Marcus Jordan, 32, and Larsa Pippen, 48, are apathetic to what the public thinks of their relationship. Marcus buying Pippen a pair of Jordans proves that. 

The couple, mainly Pippen, caught much flack after their relationship became public. Marchus is NBA legend Michael Jordan’s second eldest son. Pippen was previously married to Michael’s known nemesis and former Chicago Bulls teammate Scotty Pippen. 

Despite the negativity around their relationship, that hasn’t stopped the couple from displaying their love on social media. Marcus, the owner of The Trophy Room, a retail boutique in Orlando, recently posted a photo of Air Jordan 4s and Travis Scott Lows on his Instagram story with the caption, “Gotta keep my baby laced up.”

Pippen responded to the gift by writing on her Instagram story, “Thank you, baby,” tagging The Trophy Room and Marcus.

Dating rumors surfaced after the couple was spotted having dinner at a New York steakhouse in September 2022.

Pippen appeared on the Tamron Hall Show, discussing the large age gap between her and Marcus and the controversy surrounding her dating the offspring of her ex-husband’s frenemy.

Hall first addressed the age gap, asking what a 48-year-old had in common with a 32-year-old.

“We have everything in common,” she told the talk show host. “I’ve dated guys that were a lot older than me. Scottie is 10 years older than me. So, I don’t really view age as you’re mature, you’re immature. I don’t feel like that determines if you’re mature or not.”

Hall then maneuvered the interview to the most controversial part. 

The Scotty and Michael feud started when The Last Dance docuseries came out, and Scotty didn’t like that the docuseries glorified Jordan and didn’t focus on the other players.

With the world knowing their beef, Pippen no doubt knew about it, especially since she had been with the NBA player since 1997, and they divorced in 2021.

Hall asked Pippen why she would date Marcus, knowing Scotty’s history with Micahel.

“I can’t basically explain how someone else feels,” she explained. “That’s how Scottie feels, and he has a right to feel the way. I personally don’t really care about other people out here. I feel like I live my truth. I’m happy. I feel like we get along. He’s my best friend. And so, as your best friend, I feel like we have a lot in common.”
