Love & Hip Hop Miami cast member Shay Johnson delivered her baby girl, Shajiyah.

Johnson made the Instagram announcement on Wednesday with three photos, one of her holding her baby while concealing the infant’s face and the other two of her holding the newborn’s hand.

“I HAD A SAFE DELIVERY, and @iamshajiyah is perfect!! 6 pounds 15 ounces… I’m officially a part of the mommy club … This process was emotional but thank you ALL for your support!! 🎉🎉 Go follow my daughter @iamshajiyah #Shay #ShayJohnson #Shajiyah,” the post read.

The post before Johnson’s delivery post revealed the nervous expectant mom was walking down the hospital’s corridors prior to delivery. As the nurse walked her through the initial steps of her birth preparation, Johnson looked at the camera before turning away in tears and taking a seat. Hidden from the camera’s view, nurses offered encouraging words to the emotional first-time mother to keep her relaxed.

“Delivery time for @iamshajiyah. Let’s Go!… This was the moment I’ve been waiting for and running from at the same time. Emotions: scared, nervous, happy, excited, anxious, terrified… Running out of this hospital is what I wanted to do but thank God for my Moms,” Johnson wrote.

Johnson had to do a c-section because of her Previa, myomectomy, and fibroids, which Sis2Sis has reported on. The LHH member having Previa prevented her from having a vaginal birth, her desired method, because of the placenta covering the opening of her cervix.

On February 18, the reality star announced her pregnancy by sharing a photo of her on the cover of Kontrol Magazine, slaying her goddess-like look.

Johnson also created an Instagram page for Shajiyah that includes photos and videos documenting Johnson’s pregnancy journey. Shajiyah, whose name is Arabic for “brave,” weighed six pounds and 15 ounces.
