Lizzo Fires Back At Kanye West For Fat-Shaming Her, ‘I’m Minding My Fat Black Beautiful Business’

Grammy Award-winning singer Lizzo recently fired back at fellow musician Kanye West for fat-shaming her, saying, “I’m minding my fat Black beautiful business.”

According to TMZ, Lizzo responded to Ye’s criticism of her weight during her latest performance at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. That evening, she took a moment to address his comments which went viral in minutes.

“I feel like everybody in America got my motherf*****g name in their motherf*****g mouth for no motherf*****g reason,” she said in front of a roaring crowd on Oct. 7. “I’m minding my fat Black beautiful business.”

The singer then asked the audience if she could stay in Toronto and added the question, “Who can I marry for that dual citizenship?”

Lizzo’s clap back was in response to Kanye fat-shaming her during an interview with political commentator Tucker Carlson on FOX News.

“When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, the bots attack her for losing weight because the media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal when it’s actually unhealthy,” he said

on Tucker Carlson Tonight. “If someone thinks it’s attractive, to each his own. It’s actually clinically unhealthy, and for people to promote that, it’s demonic.”

The DONDA rapper and entrepreneur also told Tucker that obesity is “genocide” of Black people.

“It’s genocide of the Black race. They want to kill us in any way they can,” he said.

This isn’t the first time the “About Damn Time” musician has been attacked for her size, as others have made it their duty to humiliate her for it publicly. Comedian and MAD TV alum Aries Spears famously made fun of her weight and said she resembles the “sh*t” emoji in August. She then called

him out on national TV while accepting her 2022 MTV VMAs award on Aug. 28.

“And now, to the b**ches that got something to say about me in the press–you know, I ain’t gonna say nothing. They be like, ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back, why don’t you clap back?’ Because, b**ches, I’m winning!” she said that night.
