Lizzo is the latest celebrity to randomly share her hygiene routine. She revealed she has stopped wearing deodorant.
This week, the world was reminded actor Matthew McConaughey doesn’t wear deodorant after his Tropic Thunder co-star Yvette Nicole Brown said he smells like “granola and good living.”
He has a sweet, sweet scent,” she said during a recent interview with The Jess Cagle Show. “That is just him, and it’s not musty or crazy.”
Eventually, the internet dug up comments McConaughey made in 2005 about his aversion to deodorant. Lizzo shared a story about this topic on her Instagram story and admitted she doesn’t wear deodorant either.
“Ok… I’m w him on this one. I stopped using deodorant, and I smell BETTER,” Lizzo wrote on Thursday.
Since July, celebrity bathing practices have been hot topics when Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis revealed they only bathe their infants when they could “see the dirt on them.”
Kutcher also bragged about only washing a few areas of his body, according to Page Six.
“I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever,” the former Punk’d host said.
The conversation got more interesting after Jake Gyllenhaal admitted he doesn’t bathe regularly. Like Kutcher and Kunis, actress Kristen Bell isn’t strict about bathing her kids.
“I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink,” Bell said earlier this month.
“Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up,” she added.
Thankfully, some stars have come out publicly as habitual bathers.
Nope, I’m the opposite of a “not washing themselves” celeb.
Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’.
Shower (warm) after my workout before work.
Shower (hot) after I get home from work.
Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower 🧼 🎶 https://t.co/iE6ZPhrthL— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) August 7, 2021

“Nope, I’m the opposite of a “not washing themselves” celeb,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson tweeted on August 6.
“Wassup with people saying they don’t shower?” questioned Cardi B. “It’s giving itchy.”
“I’m Aquaman,” Jason Momoa told Access Hollywood in a recent interview. “I’m in the f–king water. Don’t worry about it. I’m Hawaiian. We got saltwater on me. We good.”
Listen to them. Wash your ass.
