If rapper Jack Harlow didn’t know who Brandy was– independently of her brother Ray J, he does now. The 43-year-old songstress dropped a nearly two-minute track of her spitting a fire freestyle to Harlow’s hit single “First Class” on May 25.
Brandy cleared up any notion regarding her cemented legacy in the music biz or otherwise in the track.
“Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is world famous, one of the greatest living legend, did I mention my resume is amazing, the game need a breath of fresh air, and I’m breathtaking, painting pictures, Cinderella scriptures, but that don’t mean jack in the streets, jack of all trades, now I’m here jackin’ for beats, queens cancel, but you can never cancel the queen….”

Earlier this month, Harlow appeared on Hot 97’s #WhiteishWednesdays with hosts Peter Rosenberg, Ebro and Laura Stylez. The Louisville, Kentucky native was dragged online for not recognizing the 12-time Grammy-nominated singer and actress during the segment.
The deejays tried to give Harlow clues to help him recognize Brandy.
“She had a TV show,” Stylez said.
Ebro and Rosenberg also threw their two cents in.
“Her brother is the reason why a lot of people are famous,” said Rosenberg, with Ebro adding, “Her brother had an amazing sex tape.”
“Who’s Ray J’s sister?” Harlow asked.
After the debacle on Hot 97, the “Almost Doesn’t Count” singer took to Twitter to “air” the hillbilly rapper out on May 17.
“I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing [his] ass to sleep,” Brandy wrote.
She then doubled back to let fans know that she was playing with Harlow.
Fans went up for her comments.
It’s safe to say that Brandy let everybody know who she was.
