Rapper Lil Scrappy claimed one of the issues in his marriage to Bambi was her lack of trust in him during a Sept. 26 interview with Carlos King.

Towards the end of the interview, Scrappy talked about how Bambi had trust issues with Scrappy the entire duration of their marriage.

“I could be going to studio session. I could be going to Miami…she would get mad because certain people (his exes) would live there…but I’m like, that ain’t got nothing to do with me,” Scrappy said. 

The 39-year-old rapper stated he understood where she came from because he has felt the same way, but his distrust stemmed from seeing proof.

“I have to have some proof to really f**k with you about it,” Scrappy said.

He gave a message to those watching, telling them not to believe everything they hear about their significant other.

“If a motherf**a sitting right there next to you, with you, every day and y’all laughing together every day. Y’all loving each other. Y’all argue. Y’all together every day, and then all of a sudden, this man go do his job. What he been doing before he got married…now it’s like some s**t going on,” Scrappy said.

The rapper admitted being scared to post the shows he performed at because of Bambi’s distrust. He said he tried to confide in Bambi’s friends, Sierra Gates and Erica Mena, but the two defended Bambi despite knowing what she had done to him.

“N***as don’t even take up for n***as that are deadbeats and that beat on [their] woman and s***t. I don’t…them women, bro. They f**k with a dirty, rotten person and stand up for [them] just ’cause she a woman and just ’cause she been through some pain.”

Scrappy added that Bambi never spoke positively of him on TV unless it involved her reputation.

Scrappy and Bambi were married in 2017 and had three children before calling it quits after five years of marriage.
