Lil Nas X’s Dad Robert Stafford Calls DaBaby Out for Rolling Loud Rant: ‘Bruh Sit Down’

Lil Nas X’s dad Robert Stafford had some choice words for DaBaby after his homophobic rant during his performance at the Rolling Loud festival.

DaBaby has been catching hell online since he started popping off at the mouth during his set last weekend.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” the rapper said. “Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone light in the air. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

Stafford had time and expressed his view of the “Suge” rapper in his Instagram story, per the Neighborhood Talk.

“Bruh, sit down. You had your time,” he wrote. The slide featured a picture of Lil Nas X with DaBaby. He also shared a clip from the Panini remix, a song DaBaby did with his son.

The protective father isn’t the only one disappointed in DaBaby. Several celebrities have called him out for his comments, including singer Dua Lipa, reality star Candiace Dillard Basset and Elton John, per NBC News.

DaBaby also lost a bag when BoohooMan announced the end of their partnership.

“BoohooMAN condemn the use of homophobic language and confirm we will no longer be working with DaBaby. Diversity and inclusion are part of the boohoo Groups DNA and we pride ourselves on representing the diverse customers we serve across the globe,” the fashion retailer wrote in a statement.

“We stand by and support the LGBTQ+ community, and do not tolerate any hate speech or discrimination in any form,” the statement continued.

On Tuesday, DaBaby posted a half-apology on Twitter.

“Anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies,” he tweeted. “But the LGBT community… I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.”
