Lil’ Kim To Launch ‘Aphrodisiac’ Cannabis Products In 2022

Famed New York rapper Lil’ Kim is getting into her entrepreneurship bag, teaming up with two established marijuana brands to create aphrodisiac, a new line of cannabis products. Launching in California as early as next year, the “Crush On You” femcee also hopes to spread

her brand to the East coast, focusing on New York, New Jersey and Michigan, Forbes reported.

Lil’ Kim has been quietly working to bring aphrodisiac to the public for nearly three years, telling Forbes about the venture, “This is something that didn’t just come overnight. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s the way of the world.”

The 47-year-old partnered with superbad inc., a growing cannabis brand

stationed in California, and CampNova, which offers cannabis delivery and exclusive celebrity marijuana products to their customers on the west coast. On their plans to branch out to different states, superbad inc. founder Carlos Drew shared with Forbes, “The goal is to have Kim’s aphrodisiac cannabis brand in multiple states. Kim is an icon, and internationally known,” adding, “It’s global with Kim.”

Speaking with the business outlet about the quality of her aphrodisiac line, Lil’ Kim revealed, “I’m a hustler by nature, right? I’m from Brooklyn, so we hustle. I equate the game all the time to how I came up in the streets. It’s different, but it’s not. It’s the same. I’ve always been the type of person who will try it out. I test my product. I tested this, and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, this is that gas.’”

“I knew it also because I am surrounded by seasoned cannabis smokers. They told me, ‘Kim, you onto something,’ and I was really excited about it,” she

continued. “Plus, I do like smoking different strains. I like Sativa. I like Indica and hybrid.  I also, like that real California OG, it will never go out of style.”

Though no official launch date has been announced, aphrodisiac is expected to be available to Californians in early 2022.
