Lala Anthony Shows Carmelo Anthony Father’s Day Love Despite Divorce

After filing for divorce, Lala stills shows the father of her son some appreciation.

Lala Anthony is showing Carmelo Anthony love, despite their ongoing divorce. Lala showed her appreciation for Carmelo with a special Father’s Day shoutout.

The two are still showing up as a united front to support co-parenting their son.

Lala shared a photo of Carmelo and their son Kiyan and said, “We spent all day cheering on Kiyan and @blackopscadets at the ‘Ballin on the Beach’tournament. Super proud of my boy always. Happy Father’s Day, Mel…Kiyan is blessed to have you as his dad.”

Before the post was deleted, The Shade Room got a hold of it and shared it with roommates. The caption read: “#LalaAnthony showed #CarmeloAnthony some Father’s Day love after cheering on their son Kiyan at his basketball tournament. ❤️”

Carmelo and Lala were spotted standing side by side cheering on their 14-year-old son Kiyan, who will be attending Christ the King High School in Queens, NY, this upcoming fall.

According to The Shade Room, this comes just days after Lala Anthony filed for divorce from Carmelo after 11 years of marriage.

Shortly after that news broke, news about a woman alleging that Carmelo is the father to her newborn twins emerged as well.

It is no secret that Lala and Carmelo experienced difficulties in their marriage before.

Back in 2017, she appeared on The Wendy Williams Show. When asked if she was ready to divorce him, she said at the time, “Not right now, you know marriages are filled with ups and downs, you know it, we all know it. We’re just going through a time right now, but him and I are the best of friends, and our #1 commitment is to our son Kiyan. We have to set an example for Kiyan.”

Lala has not made any comments publicly about her recent divorce filing.
