Reality television star Khloe Kardashian and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, a basketball player, publicly announced to PEOPLE on August 5 that they have welcomed a second child through a surrogate.
Khloe opened up on Keeping Up With the Kardashians previously about the risks of her carrying her child, leading some to believe that it’s the reason she decided to use a surrogate.
The baby has remained unnamed so far, but a representative told the outlet, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.”
The representative continued, “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
In Season 20 of KUWTK, Khloe opened up about her struggles with conceiving and the likelihood of her having a high-risk pregnancy. She revealed that doctors told her that she’d likely have a miscarriage if she tried to conceive herself.
“I’m not gonna get into specifics on-camera,” she said in the episode, “but they said it’s like an 80-something percent chance that I will miscarry. I almost miscarried with True at the beginning. But I didn’t know that was like a lingering thing.” Khloe continued, “This is all really shocking to me. All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family, and I just seem to be running into more and more roadblocks. It’s really hard for me to digest.”
The confirmation of the new baby boy comes after Twitter lowkey clowned Khloe for jumping back into the co-parenting game with confirmed cheater Tristan Thompson, as reported previously by Sis2Sis.
