Kenya Moore is finally ending her tumultuous marriage to Marc Daly after four years of matrimony.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed for divorce from Daly in May, according to court documents acquired by Radar Online. The filing lists their date of separation as September 19. 2019. In the papers, Moore claimed the couple has been living a “bonafide state of separation since that date” and their union is “irretrievably broken.”

She is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their two-year-old daughter Brooklyn. Moore is also requesting assistance with dividing their marital property.

“The parties have acquired other joint personal property as a result of their marriage by way of gifts or joint purchases which must be equitably divided as well as martial debt which must be equitably divided,” Moore’s filing stated.

The couple got married in June 2017 and welcomed their daughter in November 2018. Around the time of her divorce filing, Moore requested an emergency custody hearing to address “issues impacting the care, safety and well-being” of their daughter.

Moore’s lawyer is requesting

the courts to seal records related to the case because she is a “high-profile individual who has a vested and heightened interest in keeping her private life from becoming public.”

“Due to her public persona, the Petitioner’s life, safety and privacy interests are generally the subject of media outlets and as such,” the court documents said.

On June 11, Daly responded with his own filing in which he agreed Moore could keep physical custody but requested joint legal custody. The restauranteur also wants to be awarded “separate real and personal property” and an “equitable division of the parties’ marital residence.” He listed their marital residence as a home Moore owns in Georgia.

He requested his estranged wife pay for his legal fees. Daly’s court papers denied Brooklyn’s safety was at risk.

“Respondent DENIES that there are various issues impacting the safety and well-being of the minor child that could be continuously impacted if not addressed,” his lawyer stated in the papers.

The divorce revelation is interesting since the couple was recently spotted vacationing in the Bahamas with their little girl. A judge has not ruled on any of their petitions.
