Kenya Moore Comes For Marlo Hampton With “Ex-Con” Comment, Hampton Takes The High Road

"I'm an icon, she's an ex-con. Why would I be jealous?" Moore asked.

Class is in session, and “ex-con” Ms. Marlo Hampton is teaching by example!

Actress and former Miss USA Kenya Moore gave a spicy comment during her talk with guest host Michael Rapaport on The Wendy Williams Show in response to Hampton’s promotion to a peach holder on The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA). But Hampton gave Moore a lesson in grace with her response.

While discussing the latest season that began

earlier this month, Rapaport brings up the alleged jealousy between Moore and Hampton.

“She says that you, the Kenya Moore, are jealous about her getting the peach,” he said.

In a short clip on Twitter, Moore laughed before commenting, “Jealous? That’s really silly. I’m an icon. She’s an ex-con. Why would I be jealous?”

Hampton is known to clap back with some insults. However, the fashionista refrained from letting the 51-year-old beauty queen have it. The now permanent member of the RHOA took the high road with her comeback by posting six of her mugshots, along with pictures of her graduating, opening and celebrating new businesses, a Vogue article about her and a photo of her with her fellow RHOA

cast members.

The caption on the post read, “A round of applause to all the ex-cons who’ve turned their life around. It’s not about where you start, but about how you finish! Keep Going!”

Fans went to Twitter to express their thoughts on the drama.

“Marlo Hampton responds to Kenya Moore calling her an ex-con!!! I love this response. Anyone can turn their life around,” one Twitter account wrote.
