Singer Kelly Price recently took to Instagram to share an update with her followers after battling COVID-19 and said she is still in respiratory therapy.
During the session, Price opened up and said that she had pneumonia in her lungs and still requires respiratory therapy to help her breathe.
In a video clip posted by The Shade Room, Price said, “Since being out of the hospital, I do have to have respiratory therapy.”
She said that if she wanted to attempt singing “right now,” she could, but not “full out.” She added that she doesn’t have the lung capacity to perform a full concert as of right now.
Price mentioned that besides her current breathing issues, she also has to see a cardiologist after battling the virus. “That’s probably one of the hardest things to accept,” she said.

As previously reported, the 48-year-old Grammy Award-nominated singer said in an interview that she had “flatlined” while in the hospital suffering from COVID-19.
“At some point, they lost me,” she said, speaking of the incident. “I woke up a couple of days later, and the first thing I remember was the doctors standing around me asking me if I knew what year it was.”
Price was asked to explain what she meant by “they lost me,” she clarified and said, “I died.”
“I am facing a very uphill battle right now,” she said while crying. “I suffered a lot of internal damage, and so I have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be concert-ready again.”
There have also been rumors that Price went missing, which she explained may have resulted from her strained relationship with her sister and that she feels restless in her home.
