Keke Wyatt and her husband Zackariah Darring welcomed the newest edition to their growing family — a baby boy. The singer took to Instagram and announced the exciting news to her followers.
“My husband Zackariah & I are grateful to GOD to announce the birth of our miracle baby Boy…. Ke’Zyah Jean Darring 💙Born May 27, 2022,” Wyatt wrote in the caption.
She continued, “Most of you are familiar with the challenges I faced during this pregnancy. My husband & I made the decision not to accept the Medical Specialist’s suggestion to terminate our baby early despite the positive trisomy 13 test results. We appreciate and thank God for all of the Dr’s in the medical field. However, I can’t stress enough to all mothers & couples. When the Dr gives you life-changing information about your unborn child …. pray about it, use faith & follow your spirit before making ANY final decision. We believed the report of the Lord, and after holding our beautiful, healthy baby boy Ke’Zyah & looking into his eyes, I’m glad we did. 😍”
“We are both believers and know that God has & will continue to have the final say. Thank You to my nurse Ebonie. Thank you ALL for the prayers & support, ShugaS.💋💋💋”

In March, the “My First Love” singer announced that her then-unborn child was diagnosed with Patau Syndrome (trisomy 13), a rare genetic disorder that a baby gets if they have an extra 13th chromosome. “It happens when cells divide abnormally during reproduction and create extra genetic material on chromosome 13,” according to WebMD. After disclosing the details on social media, the R&B singer addressed the negative comments she received regarding the baby’s health diagnosis.
“I’d like to send a special prayer out for the rude, cruel people that took time out of their day to get on social media & make disparaging & morbid comments concerning my pregnancy,’ she said in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Wyatt and Darring announced the pregnancy in February, marking the couple’s third child together and the Indiana native’s 11th overall, Sis2Sis reported. “My husband, Zackariah David Darring, and I are proud to announce that our family will be adding a “plus 1” to the Wyatt Bunch!” she captioned the Instagram photo that showed her wearing a red ensemble while cradling her baby bump.
