In December, veteran actress Keke Palmer will reportedly host the legendary sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL).
The SNL social media team announced Keke’s upcoming appearance via Twitter on Nov. 13.
“Next show! Dec. 3: Keke Palmer, Sza,” they tweeted that day.

The 29-year-old actress quoted the tweet and shared her excitement.
“Y’all got y’alls wish… guess [who’s] hosting @nbcsnl? I’m so excited for usss yalllllll, [I] couldn’t do it without you,” she said about SNL’s December episode.
Sza, on the other hand, has seemingly been in disbelief, as she shared with her followers and fans via Instagram on Nov. 13.
“[I] Can’t believe this is happening, lmao,” she wrote. “I plan on acting a fu**ing fool. See you soon, New York,” she wrote in the post’s caption.
In addition to Keke’s forthcoming appearance, she recently launched a digital platform network for “spotlighting a new generation of creators” called KeyTV, NBC reported. KeyTV kicked off in early November with a scripted seven-episode series called Heaux & Tell. The series reportedly follows the “misadventures of three best friends who dive headfirst into provocative and ridiculous new experiences [and] offers this generation a real take on sex, sexuality, and sisterhood.” It was also created by 2022 NAACP Image Award nominee Nakia Stephens.
“I’ve been doing this for 20 years, but this is what I’m most proud of,” the 29-year-old shared in an Instagram post. “Y’all always say I keep a job [and] now I’m making sure we ALL got one. Sharing the keys to the culture is my greatest gift — this is for you & for us, from me.”

Back in July, the actress went viral on Twitter for responding to award-winning actress Zendaya comparisons.
“A great example of colorism is to believe I can be compared to anyone. I’m the youngest talk show host ever. The first Black woman to star in her own show on Nickelodeon, & the youngest & first Black Cinderella on broadway. I’m an incomparable talent. Baby, THIS, is Keke Palmer,” she said at the time.
