The patron saint of “work smart, not hard,” Karlie Redd was spotted out with a man best known for his place on the Kardashian list of ex-husbands, Lamar Odom, reported Bossip earlier today. 

The two appeared to be semi-boo’d up at a birthday party for Redd’s Love & Hip Hop co-star Yandy Smith. 

Karlie, a mainstay on the VH1 reality program’s Atlanta cast since its 2012 inception, has been in several questionable relationships. As if something out of a clever producer’s playbook, she dated various men who were also curiously cast members at the time of their coupledom. She dated former rapper Benzino, professional box perm experimenter Yung Joc, and leprechaun singer Lyfe Jennings.

It is unknown if these situationships occurred to keep Karlie on the payroll or put her boyfriends on the payroll.

Most recently, she married trucking mogul Maurice Fayne (known as Arkansas Mo). The marriage was strained after he was indicted in June of last year on fraud charges for taking money from the Paycheck Protection Program, not protecting his employees’ paychecks, and laundering the money instead…allegedly.

The couple divorced soon after because Karlie (apparently) doesn’t play that!

Lamar Odom has had his fair share of relationship drama as well. After his tumultuous marriage to Khloe Kardashian ended, he eventually met Sabrina Parr. They were engaged until Dec. 2020, and just like that, Parr

went from the praiseworthy love of his life to a “reptilian” that slept with his ex-wife’s ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. Odom also accused her of holding his social media passwords and passport hostage.

 

Being on the rebound after a failed relationship is common. Unfortunately, some people choose to rebound face-first into the side of a mountain like Wile E. Coyote. 

Judging by the reality television pattern, it would not be surprising if this is another stunt written by the iconic Mona Scott-Young herself. After all, what is Love & Hip Hop

if it doesn’t have relationship drama? 

Neither Karlie nor Lamar have confirmed nor denied the rumor. If this relationship is real, we certainly wish them the best.
