Kanye West’s actions indicate that he doesn’t want his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, to restore her single status. He’s publicly threatened Pete Davidson, attacked Kardashian’s parenting style several times, and now he doesn’t want his Instagram posts to be used as evidence in the upcoming divorce hearing.
According to TMZ, West has filed court documents to find his Instagram posts impermissible at the next court hearing, where a judge will decide if the KUWTK star’s single status will be granted. However, the “Jesus Walks” rapper and his lawyer have suggested that Kardashian prove he was the one that wrote the problematic posts on his Instagram account.
“Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation … Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye,” West’s lawyer wrote in the documents.
Two weeks ago, Ye took to Instagram and posted ridiculous photos of him holding a yellow notepad, affirming that his account was not hacked.
“MY ACCOUNT IS NOT HACKED I WILL BE AT SUNDAY SERVICE AT NOON AND WILL ME TAKING NORTH AND SAINT TO THE SUPERBOWL SHORTLY AFTER @chetthinks I’LL DOUBLE WHATEVER THEY PAYING YOU JUST SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PAWN EVER AGAIN BIG LOVE,” he wrote in the caption of the now-deleted post.
On Valentine’s Day, he posted now-deleted pictures, seemingly, harassing his estranged wife. Although, he insists on reconciling with Kardashian. She appears to want to move forward without him.
The 44-year-old’s argument seems difficult to prove since he has addressed his marital issues with Kardashian several times on the social media platform.
In January, West posted a video on Instagram accusing the SKIMS founder of intentionally preventing him from attending his daughter Chicago’s birthday party.
“Y’all, I was just wishing my daughter a public happy birthday. I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was. There’s nothing legal that’s saying that this is the kind of game that’s being played,” he said in an Instagram video. “It’s the kind of thing that really has affected my health for the longest, and I’m just not playing. I’m taking control of my narrative this year… I’m being the best father—the Ye version of a father—and I’m not finna let this happen…Chicago, happy birthday. I love you, and I’m just putting this online because I need y’all’s support.”
He then criticized Kardashian’s parenting style after she allegedly allowed their eight-year-old daughter North use Tik-Tok. “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?” he wrote.
The Chicago native seemingly addressed parts of Kardashian’s response to his attacks on social media.
“What do you mean by main provider? America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address,” he said. “You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing.. I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party because you accused me of being on drugs. Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way.”
He recently suggested that he was the reason Davidson was no longer on Instagram.
“Ran Skete off the gram Tell your mother I changed your name for life,” he wrote.
The divorce hearing is set for March 2, Rolling Stone reported.
