Rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West recently told Howard Stern to “shut the f**k up” after the radio host said that “now, he’s like Hitler.”
In typical Kanye fashion, the Chicago rapper lashed out at Howard during a recent two-and-half-hour interview with Lex Fridman. In the interview, he asked what apology he could possibly give the radio host “short of kissing [his] d*ck.”
Then, when Lex noted that it was rhetorical, Ye continued his rant, saying, “That’s the whole point, Howard Stern. Nobody wants to kiss your d*ck, so sh*t the f**k up. And by the way, I’m antagonizing you, Howard Stern. I used to be a fan of you…Now you’re just doing clickbait like everybody else. Now you’re just a sad old man, Howard.”
Kanye’s sentiments arrived after Howard expressed that he was “tired” of the musician’s behavior during an episode of his SiriusXM show on Oct. 19. He added that Ye “used to be fun crazy” and how “he’s like Hitler” following the rapper’s bizarre comments.
“I almost don’t want to give any energy to this Kanye West character,” Howard said. “I don’t know much about Kanye West. I’m not big into the rap scene, but he is… I’m really tired of people excusing his behavior by saying, ‘Well, he’s just mentally ill.’ This is so depressing. I mean, Kanye used to be fun crazy. Now he’s like Hitler.”
Later in Lex’s podcast, the 45-year-old claimed to be apologetic about his initial statements.
“I’m sorry for hurting you, as a Jewish person. I’m sorry for the way that it made you feel. And I’m sorry for the entire population of a race that I feel is actually my brothers,” Kanye said.
The rapper has been at the center of controversy, once again, as he shockingly wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt during Paris fashion week and had his relationship with JP Morgan Chase terminated, among other things. Adidas, who famously teamed up with Kanye to create his Yeezy sneakers and slides, has reportedly cut ties with him.
