Since Kanye West and Kim Kardashian split, the rapper has been publicly harassing the KUWTK star and boyfriend, Pete Davidson. And now, he has been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours after violating community guidelines.
According to TMZ, the Chicago native reportedly bad-mouthed Davidson, Davidson’s writing partner, Kardashian, and a racist attack on The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah. A spokesperson for Meta told the outlet that West’s recent posts “violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment, and bullying.” The 24-hour suspension temporarily prevents the 44-year-old from posting, commenting, sending DM’s, among other things that regular users can do.
If West continues to violate the social platforms guidelines, the spokesperson said it would take further action against him.
Before Instagram suspended his page, West had a post hurling racial slurs at Noah. Then, he posted a conversation with Davidson about where the comedian reportedly asked West to stop harassing him and the 41-year-old mother of four.
On Sunday, the “Jesus Walks” rapper commented on veteran comedian D.L. Hugley’s statements regarding his behavior towards his estranged wife, Sis2Sis reported.
The musician referred to the 59-year-old as a “pawn” in a now-deleted post on Instagram.
“And DL Hughley is a pawn. Yeah, I know a king not supposed to address a pawn, but I address everything and find addresses, DL. So don’t speak on me or my children– I can afford to hurt u.”
Ye made a follow-up post calling Hugley a “drug addict” and stated that God didn’t like him.
“We gone stop letting practicing drug addicts be used by leftist to Willie Lynch our Future. Black people with our own opinion are not allowed to speak in public,” Kanye captioned the clip. “I am the glitch. DL, God does not like you. You have no favor. Your family hates you. I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous. Now, you just known as a broke pawn. At least, Oprah got billions ‘allegedly.’ Come on, leftist. Y’all gotta do better than DL. This Ye. Bring the real smoke, baby.”
West’s feud with Hugley began after the comedian appeared on Vlad on Feb. 25 and was asked about the rapper and Kardashian’s strained relationship.
“He’s stalking her,” Hughley said. “You can think it’s cute. If it was my daughter, I’d do something about it. I don’t think it’s funny… If you want your family back, stop doing the sh** you did that made her leave.”
After his 24-hour Instagram suspension expires, do you think Ye will learn to use his words more wisely?
