Kanye West Just Can’t Seem To Let Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian Go, Raps About Her In New Song With Future

Kanye West is featured on Future’s song “Keep It Burnin,” and he seemingly has a few choice words for Kim Kardashian.

In the track from Future’s new album, “I Never Liked You,” West, 44, referenced real-life events between him and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, although he doesn’t mention her by name.

In the song and music video, he mentions buying a house next to hers and his failed presidential campaign in 2020.

“Imma buy a home next to your home if I miss you,” he rapped. “Rubbin’ on your ass, but your mouth is the issue / When you run for ’24, I bet your spouse gon’ be with you.”

This is not the first time Ye has mentioned his ex-wife in his music. Since his split from Kardashian, he has been sharing all his business. In his February album, “Donda 2,he made some pretty significant references.

In “Too Easy,” he questions his position in her life, singing, “Do I ever still cross your mind? If not, then never mind.”

On his track “Security,” he rapped, “Nevеr take the family picture off thе fridge / Never stand between a man and his kids.”

In his song “Sci-Fi,” Ye sampled Kardashian’s actual voice, including quotes of hers that complimented him, such as “I married the greatest rapper of all time” and “Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America. A talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.”

Future and Ye have also worked together on a track before. “I Won,” a track from Future’s 2014 album, “Honest.”

In the May 2022 issue of GQ, Future opened up about his relationship with Kanye, saying, “Me and Kanye always had a relationship.”

In an episode of Drink Champs in 2021, Ye referred to Future as the “most important” and “the most influential” hip hop artist in the past ten years.

Future appreciated it, saying, “The value of the relationship as it continues to grow, the value of just treating people like they are priceless, instead of treating people like they got a dollar sign on them every time.”
