After his two-month fling with actress Julia Fox, Kanye West seemingly moved on to Kim Kardashian look-alike, 24-year-old Chaney Jones. However, the two haven’t confirmed they’re a couple just yet.
According to TMZ, West and Jones have been spending time together here and there for the past few weeks. Sources say that West was automatically drawn to her due to facial similarities to the KUWTK star.
The two met when Jones reportedly slid in Ye’s DM’s, and they were seen at several spots during an outing in Florida. However, an insider confirmed that the 44-year-old is not looking for commitment right now amid ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife.
At first glance, you would think Jones is the spitting image of the 42-year-old since she wears tight-fitted bodysuits and sunglasses just like her.
On Wednesday, a judge granted Kardashian’s request to change her marital status to single before finalizing her and West’s divorce. A year ago, she filed for divorce to end her seven-year marriage with the Chicago native, per E! News.
West’s attorney Samantha Spector attended the recent court hearing on behalf of the rapper and called to “dispel a few mistruths” mentioned during the hearing.
“Kanye’s paperwork has always indicated that his problems with the divorce was only procedural,” Ye’s lawyer told the outlet. “Moreover, he was always in support of the divorce only if Kim satisfied the procedural requirements to protect rights under the California law.”
Since West is legally single, some have questioned how he feels since Kardashian’s court victory. “Ye is focusing his entire attention to their children,” his lawyer said.
As Sis2Sis previously reported, the Yeezy founder recently filed court documents to have his Instagram posts deemed inadmissible before the court proceeding. However, the musician and his lawyer have suggested that Kardashian prove he was the one that wrote the problematic posts on his Instagram account.
“Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation … Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye,” West’s lawyer wrote in the documents.
