Celebrity hairstylist Jonathan Wright proclaimed that Arrogant Tae didn’t “want it when it actually came to hand” during a guest appearance on Sierra in the Ghetto’s Ghetto Girlz Eat.
Post on YouTube on Sunday, July 30, Sierra asked Jonathan if he ever had beef with anyone in the beauty industry towards the end of the interview.
Although commenters remembered the beef he had with Tae, Sierra made it known in the comments after The Neighborhood Talk posted the segment that she didn’t know about his feud with Tae.
Jonathan said, “I wouldn’t call it beef, but I could see that this is what they wanted. But they ain’t want it when it actually came to hand.”
He then filled Sierra in on his 2020 beef with Tae, adding that their fans escalated the situation and made it out to be more than it was.
According to MEAWW, the feud started after Jonathan shared his work on Jeffree Starr’s wig. He received backlash for working with the problematic star, and Tae weighed in by commenting that not all money was good.
Bu Jonathan affirmed he wasn’t the type to decline a bag.
That seemed to be the end of their “beef” until an important and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity arose for Jonathan that ground Tae’s gears.
Rapper Nicki Minaj contacted Tae about doing her hair for a promo video, but he canceled after learning he couldn’t reschedule his wisdom tooth removal.
Minaj and her team then suggested that Tae make a wig for her and expressed it, so her team could quickly attach it to the rapper. But, according to Minaj, Tae said he couldn’t. So, the “Starships” rapper had to hire someone to do her hair last minute, and she employed Jonathan.
Tae didn’t take kindly to this and went on a rant about feeling betrayed by Nicki and expressing his problems about being too loyal.
“Bad intentions, industry a dirty, dirty game! [And I don’t] want no parts of this bull s**t! It’s always the [people] who [you] break your back for that always try [and] be shady [and] turn on you. It’s a thrill for them!”
While Tae continued his Instagram Story rants, Jonathan took to his IG Story and wrote, “Stop venting and start praying. You don’t need sympathy; you need strength.”
